
This shop just opened 7am yesterday, after a two-month repairable time. The store was destroyed by a flood which floods it on June 16, and again on July 17. It is the second establishment in Liat Towers to re-open since the Orchard Road flood in June. Fast food restaurant Wendy's re-opened on July 30 because there was cleared up a $500,000. Their neighbor, clothes seller Massimo Dutti, remains shut, while the second and third floor of designer boutique Hermes has opened but not the ground floor. According to Hermes spokesman Joyce Ong, it hopes to re-open its first floor, which was damaged in the flood, by the end of November. Starbucks managing director Jeff Miller said the company has pass the loss in business with the end of the store but believes it is an investment that will be final 'help position us for useful growth'.
As you see, I had already summarized about flood in Singapore, so this is the consequence of the problem. Almost business who work about it, they have to open it for survival. They must agree with the fact, forgot the past and keep working.
