Singapore Spirit Will Help Carry Nation to Next Level

The new is about the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong had a conference during his National Day Rally, he said that Singapore need the spirit of people to developed country to next level. He said that now Singapore is growth very fast in the high level because of Singaporean, and they need to maintain the spirit and passed to the next generation, so this wills made Singapore to growth in the future with no stopped.

For me, I think Singapore is rapidly developed. The main reason, they have the assistance together and unity of people in the country, these two things made Singapore become country without protest. When they have the government and unity of people in the country, everyone will agree with all rules. Singapore does everything that can make their country to go forward and to be a successful country in the world.

Changes to political system

Legislation was introduced in parliament yesterday to change political system. If it hasn’t problem, it should become law by next month. The legislation comes some 10 months after Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced his plan to provide for having a various point in Parliament. The changes cover the way for opposing in Parliament, by the use of an increase in the allowable number of Non-Constituency Members of Parliament (NCMPs); people who can’t vote and the entrenchment of the Nominated MP (NMP); people who can vote. Once using, non-ruling party MPs would fill at least 18 seats, or one-fifth of the House. The main changes such as cancel rule that do not campaign on the day before Polling Day, and allow to have advertise for campaigning To effect these changes, correction to the Constitution, the Parliamentary Elections Act (PEA) and the Presidential Elections Act were tabled - by Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng in the first case, and Law Minister K.Shanmugam in the second and third.3

Personally, this is interesting legislation. I think all members in parliament also agree with it. For the first change about cancel campaigning on the eve of Polling Day, They do the accurate one. The day before election is very important to campaign because they have to ensure to citizen that they will do their best. For the second change about allowing advertisement for campaigning, it is also main point because advertisement will show characteristic of individual person. These are significant because choosing the honest and intelligent leader is not easy. Nowadays, dishonest leader would make serious problem, if we choose the bad leader.

Home prices see fastest rise

private home prices in Singapore is increased at the fastest June 30, according to the latest weekly report by online property research house Global Property Guide. Now, Home prices increased 34 per cent – requiring the highest since 1995. This put the state well ahead of Hong Kong, in the No. 2 spot, with a 21.42 per cent jump. These numbers have been change because prices of goods are increased while prices of money are decreased. Mr. Matthew Montagu-Pollock, publisher of Global Property Guide, said: 'It's because of Singapore's amazing economic growth... Housing markets affect to economic growth because people are rich. They respond rates and they respond to momentum.' Global Property Guide shows the ranking using information from 36 countries and areas where was controlled - mostly official information that can be based on only housing type or a combination of housing types. In Singapore, the town was solved by using land efficiently, which covers only private homes. Industry sources were doubtful about the ranking, given that it does not compare the same property types, for instance.
In my opinion, after I read this news, I won’t wonder why this Singapore is the fastest developed country. Moreover, I think this is just the beginning, so it will be increased more and more soon. When home prices rise, standards of living a go up and the number of foreigners who want to visit was also increased. There are two reasons why price raise continuously. The first reason, foreigners want to invest their business, and most of their goods were brand name, and there is also high technology. So they need residents. The second reason, Government makes high-quality rule such as do not leave rubbish on the publish area and do not sale or buy a gums (This rule was issued in this year). These rules make country become livable tourism attraction. I have been there one time, and on street there was clean same as inside our home.

Starbucks re-opens after flood

This shop just opened 7am yesterday, after a two-month repairable time. The store was destroyed by a flood which floods it on June 16, and again on July 17. It is the second establishment in Liat Towers to re-open since the Orchard Road flood in June. Fast food restaurant Wendy's re-opened on July 30 because there was cleared up a $500,000. Their neighbor, clothes seller Massimo Dutti, remains shut, while the second and third floor of designer boutique Hermes has opened but not the ground floor. According to Hermes spokesman Joyce Ong, it hopes to re-open its first floor, which was damaged in the flood, by the end of November. Starbucks managing director Jeff Miller said the company has pass the loss in business with the end of the store but believes it is an investment that will be final 'help position us for useful growth'.

As you see, I had already summarized about flood in Singapore, so this is the consequence of the problem. Almost business who work about it, they have to open it for survival. They must agree with the fact, forgot the past and keep working.

A green city rich in heritage

The survey said many people begin to walk or ride bicycle in heritage areas. 300 people were surveyed about status of their life. Soon, there survey will include the Urban Redevelopment Authority's Concept Plan 2011 to construct the transportation ways. Every 10 years, they release and get back polls. The co-chairman of the sustainability said that the more people want, the more we provide for them.

This is the interesting news. The main reasons why Singapore is the best of tourism attraction are the green country and the clean country. Government legislate the policy about making a green country. People have to leave rubbish in a bin, especially cigarette. Despite of gum, you have to leave in the true way. If you leave in the ground, you will have to pay about 2000 bath for illegal performance. Moreover, they also plan to walk or ride bicycle in heritage areas.

Singapore flood risk alarms insurers

SINGAPORE - Insurers may have to increase prices for flood properties in Singapore because a flood caused the great waste and affect to luxury stores being wall with sandbags, a report said Friday. "Three floods within a one-month has never happen before in Singapore," General Insurance Association president Derek Teo told the Straits Times as businesses and homeowners in the city-state supported for more rains. The daily estimated that claims for damage to property and car since mid-June is more than 10 million Singapore dollars (7.28 million US). Among the flood areas under review is the fashionable Orchard Road shopping belt, home to some of Singapore's richest people. Some ground-floor establishment in the area and the Hermes luxury chain are now protected by sandbags. Teo, who could not be reached for comment on Friday, was mentioned that the damage resulting from heavy rains and a lot of water in drains "is of concern to insurers, and they are checking the situation closely".

For me, it is very difficult to solve this problem because both group their requirement. Sufferers want insurance for their waste while insurers find the way to escape the problem. In my opinion, members of government should participate to solve this problem. For example, making equal for both or distributing money. I have seen situation like this. About 5 years ago, there is Tsunami in Thailand. It is terrible wave. It killed many people and destroyed many home. For the aftereffect, It will be the problem between hotel owner and insurers.

The test of RNS

THE Republic of Singapore Navy's (RSN) was established to help drowning submarine. Now it is time of probation for assisting a submarine. This is the first time in a military exercise involving the navies of five countries. RSN is the first fully integrated vessel. There are many countries in South-east Asia, works in agreement with its rescue vehicle. We call it “the Deep Search and Rescue Six” (DSAR 6). It is in the treatment. Singapore cooperating with many countries consists of Australia, Japan, South Korea and the United States. Treatment of submarine personnel are complicated, and a medical conference to discuss the treatment of injuries which can occur during submarine accidents.

Personally, that’s the good idea. It indicates that Singapore is cautious in economic system. Thailand should join this group. The main reasons why vessel was built for helping submarine, submarine has several of advantages such as exploring a natural resource, learning history in ocean and reminding before earthquake. In Thailand, submarine is significant because they have to use it for checking vibration of earthquake.

Eastern stretch of Downtown Line delayed by a year

Residents of Tampines and Bedok can expect five more rail station serving their estate. Unfortunately, the time is not enough as they hope that complete in 2070. Actually, engineer works will be 1 year delay. Residents in the east will have another MRT line to town. There are increase 42km rout inking Expo in the east to Bukit Panjang in the north-west. From Expo, the train travels to Upper Changi, where the fourth university. The east has many peopler in Singapore, and residents there will form part of the half a million electric system expected on the Downtown Line daily. Transport Authority (LTA) estimates that a person staying in Tampines and working in Kaki Bukit will take half the time to get to work instead of a 25-minute bus journey; it will take just a 10-minute train ride.

For the statement on the top is rough summary of information about high technology involving transportation. Nowadays, many countries try to do their best in order to improve civilization. In addition, solving for problem of transportation is complicated because people who manage there must calculate for consequence. People in that community who hope they can use it, will have hopelessness. This is the good lesson of mistake for engineer, so they must do same as their promise. At lease, I think there is better than some countries. They have to transport by bus or walking.

Unusual marriage proposals

Saying “I do” is the great chance in our life. The traditional or conservative method to say love to someone seems to losing supporting among modern couples. These days, Singaporean men are taking their marriage proposals to make it better. The show, we call Boeing Boeing, or in the heart of Orchard Road or even in a cinema, they're proving that unusual and different for a sure win way to a girl’s heart. You can see that in

http://www.razor.tv/site/servlet/segment/main/news/51942.html
(This video shows about unusual marriage proposals)

As you see, the happy couple who has been dating 4 years. They were trying to say unusual marriage proposals and they got a great opportunity while the show about love of 3 Casanovas and 3 girls was acting.

For me, many people are shy to say love, especially Thai people. In addition, as you see, when foreigner ask the question which someone know that, but they are shy to respond. Personally, my age is between teenager and adult. I do not know about the love enough, but I think the couple don’t be shy to say love in public place because it is something that has one time to remember all of life.

Beating monster

A gigantic puppet monster indicates to the fears that young people confront today. It is very tall and taller than people who control it at the floating platform. The 12m-tall monster in the show is hard work for people who control it. Its weigh is three tones, so they have to take a team of 20 to move its limbs using strings and pulleys. It was necessary that the object must be as lightweight as possible because of big size. The designer, Raja Khalid Raja Mohamed, the well-known person we know him as Raja Malek, focus on concept of the monster clad in fur. It will have to be specially produced in China and if it is wet, it will be very heavy. Kind of material consists of polyester which using to make streamers. Said Mr Malek: “I love the monster because that's what we go through” the monster is similar to the fears of the boy and also like the fear of the unknown. He hoped children will be enjoying for the show. Finally, it was great for him when he heard the cheers and claps.

For me, it’s the good show that entertains children extremely. Every boy will scream while the monster bears down on. I think some adult or teenager ignore it. News was boring and nonsense. Actually, once day they used to face the fears. I like something like this because it indicates to my life in young age. Our experience was not enough in that time we afraid of ghost. In fact, everything depends on science.

Studying aboard in Singapore

Studying aboard in Singapore, this country locates between Malaysia and Indonesia, the total area is only 630 sq. km, which is extremely small country. The tiny country has 4.3 million people. It is a modern cit that consist of market economy, high standard of living and well-known in English. People have remarked that not only is it really just a large city with many towns, but that it is controlled in the same way as a chief business might control a major corporation. In fact, many people refer to Singapore as a city-state. You must be prepared: It is fun and exciting, but you must be survival of the dangers. Many students choose to study abroad at Singapore because of the potential benefits. Some students want to learn a second language and believe that it would be nice and more interesting for them to learn it in this country. Some students choose to study abroad to learn about cultures first hand rather than through a text book. Some people just view it as a chance to travel. Additionally, Singapore is one of the safest countries in the world, student don’t need a visa to enter the country. One student quoted her rent as only U.S. $80 a month.

In my opinion, studying abroad means person try to gain knowledge outside of the region of their country, so we can study wherever we want. It depends on us. Studying abroad is an effective way to fulfill requirements for your college degree and travel the world while experiencing new cultures at the same time. There are many various aspects of studying abroad. The main advantage of studying at Singapore is this country is not far from Thailand. It can save money and save time. For disadvantage, if is near to Thailand, there are many that student. It can’t improve English.

Tiger, Thai Airways connect with Singapore

I had read the news. It’s about cooperation between two countries, Thailand and Singapore. SINGAPORE low-cost carrier Tiger Airways will participate with Thai Airways International to create new budget airline to Bangkok. Tiger's second foreign venture, the airway will available on next year after the first use in Australia. For the Thai national airline, the move is an attempt a piece of the growing low-cost market. The partnership was announced at ceremony in Bangkok on Monday morning. Thai Airways' president Piyasvasti Amranand said: 'We believe that this move will provide income opportunities for THAI and allow THAI to be more competitive in the region and hope it will be low cost. Tiger's president and chief executive officer Tony Davis said: 'Bangkok is a key gateway to the whole of South-east Asia and from its base at Suvarnabhumi Airport; Thai Tiger will be well-positioned to also serve destinations in North Asia and the Indian sub continent.'

It indicates that two governments have interesting idea to solve the problem nowadays. We both obtain the benefit together. His associations with them extremely affect many factors such as economic, The Tourism Authority of Thailand and finance. For example, if Thailand has a good promoting like this, it will be benefit for entrepreneur of hotel. For the economic, when the number of tourist is increased, demand for product in Thailand is also increased. Then the money will affect to our finance in the good way. Moreover, It make us have a good relationship.

New bus service to Sentosa for Singapore

The news is about the new service will serve the visitors who travel the island without a tour group. Vistors to Sentosa now have another option to get onto the island. A new bus service will run from the Orchard and Marina Bay area and in the future from the airport. It will cost riders $5 from Orchard and Marina Bay and $9 from the airport, inclusive of the island entry fee. The bus will available every hour from 8 am to 10.30 pm. The Marina Bay route runs from hotels in the area to Suntec Convention Centre, the Flyer and Marina Bay Sands, Mount Faber and then Sentosa.

It will be good idea because Singapore is the beautiful country; there are many tourist attractions, so it is the way to promote and increase the number of tourist. Foreigner will trust in transportation. My family also prefers traveling without tour because we can go wherever we want and travel in unremitted time. For the prize, I think it isn’t expensive, and it is appropriate for all class. Actually, Thailand also has bus like this but foreigner prefer taxi and took-took car.
