Thai students win five gold medals at International Physics Olympiad

Pornpan Vitayangkorn, deputy director of the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), said that the team - two Trium Udon Suksa School students consist of Nakarin Lohitsiri and Weerapat Tippayakhanchit, and three Mahidol Wittayanusorn School students consist of Chayakorn Pongsiri, Sirapat Jongaramrungreung and Issarapong Eksinchon. They were assisted by five-strong teacher team led by Professor Suwan Khusamran from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Lat Krabang. At the 2002 IPHO, Thai student won 1 gold. At the IPHO held in Mexico in 2009, they got one gold and four silver medals. This is the great achievement for Thai student at Croatia. They obtain five gold medals.



Nakarin Lohitsiri, he is studying in P.5 at Trium Udon Suksa School. His attitude is teachers must teach students obviously and completely. They have to make sure that student understand everything at all. Furthermore, if we have an experiment in class, science class will be interesting more and more. if we have an experiment in class. It attracts to a student who bored studying in class. In the future, he wants to be a Physic teacher for analyzing Physic.

Chayakorn Pongsiri, he is studying in P.5 at Mahidol Wittayanusorn School. He is younger than everyone in group. He said that he enjoys studying Physic, especially practical part. He loves experiment. His attitude is it is significantly to study hard in class, and then you can do whatever you want in your free time.

Sirapat Jongaramrungreung, he is studying in P.5 at Mahidol Wittayanusorn School. He said that Physic changes him to focus everything in the world as Science, and it also make him understand law of nature.

In my opinion, I admire them because their success can improve standard of education in Thailand. Foreigners will believe that Thai student is well-known in education. I agree with them that education isn’t only in a book, education isn’t making note of something. Actually, education is all around us. We can’t know them by experiment.

As we know, the Simpsons, it is a popular animation in America. The significant concept of this story is yellow skin. All of characters have a yellow skin. This animation is about the life of middle class in America. It is really funny. Moreover, it is suitable for education because the main point consist of political, traditional and standard of living. It is also the way to improve our English.






Although it is a nice medium, some people don’t agree with it. More than 400 people have signed a group of people who oppose it. They don’t want the Simpsons to be one of lessons in class because of wasting of time. Parent Joseph Reynolds said it was not the right quality of learning material for his daughter and her classmates. He doesn't think it is strong enough content. In addition, the attitude of teacher is very different from parent. Andy Dunnett, the school's assistant head teacher, said work on the cartoon took place in Year Eight as part of a "broad, balanced and various" curriculum. He indicated that studying the Simpsons can improve skill as critical thinkers and students are encouraged to look at the text skill in text.
For me, if I were student there, I prefer to study it. Our world is busy. Other medium is maybe hard to understand for children. This animation isn’t boring and we can get many advantages such as news, sport and knowledge.

It’s deferent from 12 years ago that they were champ.

Great achievement for Uruguay

Uruguay is one of the nations of South American football. The team is managed by Oscar Tabarez. This is great success for him. Uruguay is currently number six in the FIFA world rankings. This world cup, everyone focus on big team but there is one team that is top form. The lovely player for fans is Diego Forlan. He makes many fantastic goals for team. He receives the Golden Ball award. First math, as we see competition between Uruguay and France, The score is 0-0. Totally, this score is gratifying for Uruguay. Uruguay is also the leader of group A.
Moreover, Uruguay can defeated many teams consist of Korea Republic, Ghana, Mexico and South Africa. Unfortunately, everyone in team tries to defeat Holland extremely but the answer is Holland is better than Uruguay suck as free kick, head shot, skill and set piece shot. For me, I am Germany fan but I praise Uruguay as the best team in this world cup.
